SSCG Conference on Volunteer Work 2022 Commitment for the over-65s

Almost half of the people who have reached retirement age volunteer to work within organizations. And more than half of those over 65 are involved in voluntary work in their neighbourhoods independently of associations. At the same time, there is still enormous potential among retirees who wish to contribute to the solution of social challenges.

The conference will include the presentation of five recent studies on the value of social involvement during the third phase of life. At the same time, experts from the field invite participants to exchange experiences on searching for, recruiting, accompanying and coordinating volunteers during their retirement.
