Federal celebration on the Rütli: Corona reduces the dimension
Every year, the SSCG invites almost 2000 guests to the federal celebrations on the Rütli on 1 August.
This year, the SSCG wanted to organise the federal celebration together with the Federal Association of Swiss Wrestling.

This year, the SSCG wanted to organise the federal celebration together with the Federal Association of Swiss Wrestling.
However, due to the corona virus, no events with more than 1,000 people are permitted in Switzerland until the end of August.
The SSCG will therefore organise the celebration in a different setting and will provide information here at the end of May.
MISS HELVETIA Barbara Klossner will delight the guests with yodelling and Schwyzerörgeli, and Lisa Stoll with the alphorn as in previous years. The ceremony will be moderated by Maria Victoria Haas.
Postponed is not abandoned: The Federal Association of Swiss Wrestling has already been invited by the SSCG to the federal celebration in 2022 or 2023 on the Rütli meadow.
On August 1, 2021, the 50th anniversary of women’s voting rights in Switzerland will be celebrated on the Rütli meadow.
